Choosing a graphic design that I found interesting was easy. Being a FedEx employee longer than I would like to admit, and finding its logo completely cool made it perfect for this assignment. What makes the design cool is the hidden image and its message, but I will get back to that. The obvious details of the design are that the typography is a bold san serif. Bold to standout and to give an effect of power. The colors of each abbreviation a blue Fed=federal and orange Ex=express were to separate the functions of the company. Its origin was shipping federal government deliveries overnight which was faster than any other company at the time. Now back to hidden image. Most people have to be told that there is a hidden arrow within the design and even with that knowledge it is still difficult to locate which makes it even more genius. The arrow is between the E and the X and is created when the two letters are connected in the design. The arrow represents that you and you shipment are pointed in the right direction if you choose to go with FedEx. How cool is that.
